NCW Activities in Thunder Bay

This year we expanded our NCW activities to seven high schools in Thunder Bay.  We were fortunate to get the necessary help from Lakehead University Society of Chemists (LUSC) -the students' chemistry club.  Despite their busy schedules, many of them accompanied the faculty members to bring the "chemistry shows" to the schools.  Many faculty members helped with the shows by working with the students.  High school students were also briefed about the positive impacts of chemistry on our society.  We  provided answers to students' questions related to chemistry. They really appreciated our visits to their class rooms.
